At the Testa Gaming Foundation, we believe video games can be more than just entertainment — they can be a powerful tool for learning, teamwork, and personal growth.
Our programs provide a safe, structured, and positive gaming environment where kids can enjoy the games they love while building valuable real-world skills. Through organized events and friendly competition, students learn teamwork, communication, and problem-solving while connecting with other young players who share their interests.
Our goal is simple: to create a community where gaming becomes social, constructive, and enriching, rather than something kids experience alone
The Testa Gaming Foundation makes every stride to put the safety of children first! We make every effort to provide events that are fun, welcoming, and safe for all involved.
All Testa Gaming Foundation volunteers must pass a basic background check just to volunteer in any official capacity.
Those who's role may have them working directly with kids in any capacity must pass a much more extensive background check and held to higher standards
Finally, all coaches, mentors, supervisors, or any other role thats main goal is to monitor, supervise, and instruct kids must pass the same extensive background check as mentioned. However, this group must also hold an active Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card. These cards are the same requirment as school teachers who work in the class.
On top of all these individual requirments. We also implement many policies including no adults alone with childnre, line of sight for any volunteer who does not have a fingerprint clearance card, training for volunteers working directly with children, and more!
We also have strict rules that any miss conduct towards children will be grounds for immediate removal from all Testa Gaming Foundation volunteer opportunities, and events.
The Tesat Gaming Foundation wants parents to know that we want you to feel safe allowing your child to pursue their passion of gaming with us!
When guided in a healthy environment, gaming can help young players develop skills that extend far beyond the screen.
Teamwork and communication
Problem solving and strategy
Quick thinking and decision making
Digital literacy and technology confidence
Healthy competition and sportsmanship
These are many of the same skills developed through traditional sports, clubs, and academic competitions
The Testa Gaming Foundation focuses on structured gaming experiences, not just open play.
Our events are organized by grade groups so players participate alongside others at a similar stage of development.
We emphasize:
Positive community behavior
Respectful competition
Real world life skills
Encouraging teamwork
Learning through play
Responsible gaming habits
Educational opportunities beyond gaming
Our goal is to make gaming a healthy, social activity that encourages growth and collaboration, while setting kids up for the future.
Gaming is often misunderstood as a solitary activity with no real world benefits. The Testa Gaming Foundation is here to break the age old stereotypes around Gaming.
In organized environments like the Testa Gaming Foundation, gaming can function much like traditional extracurricular activities — bringing students together to compete, cooperate, and build friendships. Along with building life long skills that other activities cant match.
Our programs encourage students to view gaming not just as entertainment, but as a community activity built around teamwork, respect, and shared experiences. And to find ways of pursuing their passion beyond the screen!
Video games are part of a rapidly growing global industry that includes careers in technology, game design, broadcasting, engineering, digital art, education, and many other fields.
Through structured gaming activities, students can develop valuable skills that apply to both school and future careers.
Players practice:
Strategic thinking
Communication and leadership
Team coordination
Digital literacy
Problem solving
These experiences help students build confidence and develop skills that are increasingly valuable in a technology-driven world
Many kids already love video games. Our mission is to turn that passion into something positive, structured, and enriching.
By providing a welcoming environment, organized events, and age-appropriate competition, the Testa Gaming Foundation helps young players develop skills, friendships, and confidence while enjoying the games they love.

The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) provides age and content ratings to help parents understand what types of material may appear in a video game, such as language, violence, or online interactions. These ratings are a helpful starting point when deciding what games may be appropriate for your child.
At the same time, we recognize that families live in the real world and that every child develops differently. ESRB ratings are guidelines, not rules carved in stone, and many parents choose games based on their child’s maturity level, interests, and experience with gaming.
At the Testa Gaming Foundation, we consider ESRB ratings when selecting games for our programs and strive to choose games that are generally appropriate for each age group. However, parents and guardians always have the final say in determining what games are appropriate for their child. If you ever have questions about a game used in our programs, we encourage you to reach out and talk with us.
