To ensure the safety and security of all youth participants The Testa Gaming Foundation requires clear safety guidliens from all volunteers including Background checks depending on their role and if they are working directly with minors.
Members of the Support Team do not work directly with children as their primary role. However, they will still have a chance to be in proximity to youth participants, and may have instances occur where they interact with children. Therefore, all members of the Support Team must pass a Basic Background Check.
The primary role of the Gaming Crew is to, coach, mentor, and guide the youth participants. Because their role requires them to work directly with minors their level of clearance will be much higher. All Gaming Crew members must hold an active Level 1 Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
